Re- birth Initiative for African Development (RIFAD Africa) is a non governmental organisation (NGO) established exclusively for community development and humanitarian initiatives:
The organisation is currently in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation (FMWR&S) on Water Sanitation and Hygiene ( WASH) and climate change programme across the thirty six (36) states and FCT, Abuja also in collaboration with ALANCHA Enterprises Nigeria Limited.
The organisation key focus areas of operations are as follows:
Partnership for advocacy campaign, awareness creation, projects/programmes implementation. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) including maintainability for sustainability.
Our scope of work covers mostly in the areas of:-
- providing access to Community Health Care/ services
- Access to portable Water, Environmental Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
- Access to Education in every community
- Partnership for climate change Mitigation and action programmes
- Food security and Entrepreneurship/empowerment programmes
- SDGS goals 17 etc.
We envision a world where vulnerable communities are empowered to thrive amidst challenges. We are dedicated to fostering golbal wellness by ensuring access to clean water, sanitation, healthcare,food security/enterprenurship programme and sccess education in every community within our reach through partnership and collaborative efforts.

RIFAD Afirca's mission is to improve the lives of the most vulnerable communities in Africa by providing them with essential humanitarian aid, including food, water, sanitation and hygien (WASH) Clean and Sanitary environments, medical assistance, economic empowerment and education, agric farm irrigation etc. We work to provide social amenities, life-saving relief in vulnerable communities both in times of crises and to create sustainable development programs that promote self-sufficiency and resilience.
